After two unsuccessful entrepreneurial projects and losing his job at a large BPO in Cebu, Philippines, John's career was at an all-time low. That's when a friend introduced him to Upwork, where he began serving clients as an internet researcher and lead generator. Today, John has been able to support his mother and grandmother and is training his cousins in order to form a larger operation of lead generators in the Philippines.
